Mountain lion hunting with us is successful and an adventure. Because of our excellent reputation and success rates our fully guided Lion hunt spots are generally booked at least a year in advance. Please call for availability. It is better not to wait to plan; with the limited number of hunters and the huge interest in Lion and Wolf Combo hunting we are booked well in advance.

Do you own your Own Hounds? tell me about them...

We own and train our own and are hounds men all year round.

Is your area a quota area? 

Our area has a 2-lion limit with a reduced tag and no quota.

Do you have an exclusive outfitting area? 

Yes, we do, no overlap in vast areas.

What kind of lion specific equipment will we use? 

Russell Pond & B bar C Outfitters uses new trucks, well maintained snowmachines, sleds, side by sides, and telemetry.

How many days do you spend Lion hunting a year?

We spend over 3 months specifically preparing for the hunt and lion hunting.

Call us anytime to discuss these important aspects and Lion hunting in general.  Hunts can be reserved with a phone call. Priority mail with a personal or business check sent immediately with the $1000 deposit will secure a spot. We have guests fly into either Missoula MT or Spokane Washington depending on the date of the hunt and the area hunted. Lion hunts are currently $6500.00 plus tags.  Lion and wolf combination hunts are $8000 plus tags. Non-resident hunting licenses are $196 and lion tags $41.75 (prices are subject to change). Pick up and drop off in Spokane Washington is currently $400 round trip per person due in cash at pick up. Hunts are 5 days of hunting and a day in and out on each end for a 7-day adventure. Our excellent record and satisfied clients mean we book well in advance!
